When Uniqlo met Orla Kiely (again!)
The Uniqlo x Orla Kiely collection which launched in March was a massive hit, selling out within a few hours. Unfortunately, I didn't get my hands on any of that collection. Therefore I was really pleased to hear that the Irish designer has produced another collection for the company. This range, which launches on the 6th September, includes t-shirts; tunics; dresses; hoodies & stoles. If you are in London then you might want to head along to the Uniqlo store at 311 Oxford Street on 6th September. Orla herself will be there, and if you purchase two products on the night, you will receive a limited edition tote bag.

Lulu Guinness x Uniqlo
Hot on the heels of their collaborations with Laura Ashley and Orla Kiely, Uniqlo have pulled another fantastic collaboration out of the bag. Tomorrow morning sees the launch of the Lulu Guinness x Uniqlo collection. The collection is made up of 12 different t-shirts, all of which display that quirky vintage design that Lulu Guinness is known for. The t-shirts will retail for £14.90.
The Orla Kiely collection sold out within a few hours, so if you like the look of these, you better be quick!
Here are some of my favourites from the collection:
I really liked the pictures that Lulu Guinness released on her Tumblr, of her staff wearing some of the designs.I love the slogans scrawled on the walls, including: "You can never have too many handbags." and "Don't forget your lipstick." Wise words!
Will you be buying one of Lulu's designs from the collection?

When Uniqlo met Orla Kiely
Following on from its recent collaboration with Laura Ashley, Uniqlo has linked up with another brand synonymous with colourful prints, Orla Kiely.
Orla Kiely is an Irish designer, who is based in London. She is famous for her colourful and stylised repeat prints, which manage to be both modern and nostalgic at the same time. In this collection, you can see some of the designer's most iconic prints. The range includes t-shirts; shirts; stoles; tunics, and room shoes (or slippers to you and me!).

When Uniqlo met Laura Ashley
Uniqlo are a brand known for their simple basics, e.g. their t-shirts and their Heatech range of clothing which I always see fantastic reviews of. Therefore, their new collaboration with Laura Ashley, a classic British brand who are synonymous with heritage prints, might not have been the most obvious one. However, with prints being a major trend this season, the collection , which uses prints from the Laura Ashley archive, is perfectly timed. With pieces starting at just £9.90, this is the perfect way to work some print into your wardrobe.
Uniqlo and Laura Ashley will be making a donation from the sales of the collection, to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the UN agency providing protection and support to refugees across the globe.
Here are some of my favourite pieces from the collection:
